I am very excited that you are here. I understand you have so many questions about your session, and that’s why I’m here to help. I want to hear about you, and all about your portrait session so I can design a session that is custom to you and ensure we can meet your needs perfectly. Here, it is a personalized experience from the start! To get you started, here a few questions that our clients love to ask.

Where are you located?
Our beautiful studio is located in the heart of Downtown Langley at 406-20238 Fraser Highway, Langley. 3-hour free Street Parking is available in front or behind the building. You’re also welcome to park in ME Plaza lot beside the building.
How do I Book a session?
Booking a session is pretty simple. The fastest way is to schedule a complimentary phone consultation, so that I can hear all about your vision for your session and we can make adequate plans for you. Use the link: https://www.franctal.com/schedule to access my calendar and schedule a time.

When is the best time to book a session?
It’s never too early to book a session. Since we only serve a handful of clients per month, most sessions are booked 3weeks to 4 months in advance. You might want to ensure availability for your preferred date and time, so I’ll say if you’re already thinking about a session, the time to book is now.
What does a session cost?
Your session fee is $490 and this includes your design and style consultation, professional makeup artistry and hairstyling, up to 4-hour portrait session, magazine quality enhancements of your photographs, your access to our studio wardrobe and your personal hype person and photographer.
Weekend (Saturday) sessions and holiday sessions can be scheduled (based on availability, if requested in advance) at a preium fee.
What you spend on your photographs is totally up to you. You will have a choice of print and digital portrait collections, premium albums, gorgeous wall art pieces and more. Prices for all of these vary and you choose how many photographs you love. There’s always something for every budget.

When will my photographs be ready?
All orders are processed immediately following your session so that your digital files are available within 2 weeks of your session and your art pieces will be ready between 4 to 8 weeks of your session. Premium processing is available on request.
Do you instruct for posing?
I do not expect you to be models, so it’s no surprise that most of us may feel awkward in front of the camera. Do not worry, your session will be fully guided with posing directions, even up to expressions. Your photographs will be created to suit your body type and size. It is a lot of fun.
How do I prepare for my session?
It is my job to ensure your session is effrotless and fun. During our design and style consultation, we will plan all the details of your dream session – we will discuss everything from wardrobe for you and everyone that will be in the session, location, and makeup. Depending on your session type, you will also be able to use outfits from our extensive studio wardrobe. You only need to show up and trust the process.
Do you retouch our photographs?
Every photography you choose is masterfully retouched and hand-edited for its purpose to suit your style and preferences. I love bringing you along in the creative process.
Complimentary high-end fine art retouching is included for wall art pieces
Can we bring our pets to a portrait session?
Absolutely! Pets are always a part of us, our family. You’re welcome to bring your pets. Please remember to mention this during your consultation so we can plan in advance, depending on what animal it is.
How do I know which products are best for me?
Great question! You do not have to worry, this is where I really shine – helping my clients to figure out what works best for them. During your consultation, we will go into details about your style, your decor at home and then I can recommend the best options for the art pieces that fit into your style, decor and budget. I can even help you see your art directly on your wall – there is no guessing game here for size. Super cool, eh?

Will my photos show up on your website or social media?
It is always my pride and joy to be able to showcase your portraits. However, I do understand that some of my clients desire privacy and I totally respect that. Please discuss your needs with us during your design consultation so we can make a note of it.
Do you only work in-studio?
Your session is designed for you. You will have the option to choose in studio, in your home or in an outdoor location of your choice. It is not uncommon for some of our clients to combine multiple locations. All of this and more will be planned during your design consultation.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, cheques, and Interac e-transfers.
Do you provide a flexible payment plan?
yes. Many of our clients find it convenient to split their payments over time so they can enjoy their portrait session to their heart’s content.

Do you shoot black and white photos?
Yes. Some photographs just work great in black and white. And sometimes, black and white photos allow you to strip away all the distractions of colour to show the essence of a photograph. I’m happy to accomodate your requests and personal style.
Do you provide outfits?
Most women I photograph count on my extensive client wardrobe for their session. It is filled with couture, glam dresses, and outfit beyond your day-to-day usage that will wow and help you step out of your comfort zone. You’re welcome to take a look to see what fits. But don’t worry, I love styling my clients with items they already own as well, depending on the type of session and we will figure this out during your consultation.
